Psalm 103:15-16 - The Verses Project

Bible Psalm 103:15-16

Posted February 26, 2012

15 As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field;16 for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more.

Take time to meditate on the truths found in these 2 verses. Our finiteness. How quick life really is! This blog gives some powerful reminders connected to this verse and poses 2 great questions at the end:

1) How does your grass-likeness assault pride? 2) If we are finite but the gospel is eternal, what does this mean about our investments?

We have three different songs from the verse this week. We pray these songs help you memorize & meditate on this passage. Try starting your day by quoting it, asking God to speak to you. Maybe even turn it into a prayer. Recite it on breaks at work, or at the playground with your kids, while on your lunch break. Read it with your family after dinner, or just before you lay your head down.
